Hey Mavens! is Relocating

Hey Mavens, a staple in Nashville’s plus size retail and queer business scene, is set to relocate from their flagship storefront at Shops at Porter East to the newly opened Old Hickory Social. The vendor market that will be Hey Mavens!’s new home, features over 50 local businesses, makers, artists, and sellers, will open on March 27th at 10am.

Annika Benitz Chaloff, the owner of Hey Mavens!, is well-known for her colorful designs, luxurious use of velvet fabrics, and penchant for playful prints which are created in-house. With a focus on local production, size-inclusivity, and ecological practices, Hey Mavens! is an ethical Nashville-based business which has seen exponential growth following the onset of the pandemic.

With size-inclusivity at the forefront of Hey Mavens!, wares in XXS-10XL and beyond, are available both via their online store, and to try on and purchase in-person at Old Hickory Social, located at 1241 Robinson Road in Old Hickory. Hey Mavens! will have its full range of stock at OHS, including their best-selling Black Cat Bralette, and surprise mystery lingerie grab bags, known as Pretty Pink Pouches.

Amy M. writes in her Google review of Hey Mavens, “Best bra shopping experience of my life!”

Established in 2018, Hey Mavens!, employs local sewists and artisans to produce their garments in Nashville and the surrounding metro areas. Raw materials, like fabrics, elastics, trims, and fasteners are also sourced within the United States in an effort to create and maintain American jobs, and to reduce carbon emissions linked to international and overseas shipping. Recyclable and compostable packaging materials are also used.

Hey Mavens! will have their last day at the Shops at Porter East on March 24th, 2024.
